BALLROOM BEATS
2 HOUR PROGRAM - UP TO 60 STUDENTS
– a great introduction for students to the complexity of
ballroom dance, taught in a simplified manner! We will
explore Waltz, Cha-Cha, Foxtrot, and Mambo or Swing.
The basic steps and rhythm of each will be introduced,
and students will be taught lead and follow parts. Personal
contact between students can be avoided in this workshop
if that is a concern to your group.

GONE COUNTRY!
2 HOUR PROGRAM - UP TO 60 STUDENTS
- a great introduction or extension of your dance program where
we bring back the Hot Country days of the 1990’s. Students learn multiple line dances to country / pop music for the first hour,
along with terminology. The second hour is spent on their own choreography in groups, and performance in front of the class.
To make it more fun, students and teachers can dress up in
country-western themed clothing. The level of dance will be
aimed at the average ability of the class, however no previous
dance experience is necessary!
DANCE AROUND THE WORLD -
2 HOUR PROGRAM - UP TO 40 STUDENTS FOR PRIMARY GROUPS / 60 STUDENTS FOR JUNIOR & INTERMEDIATE GROUPS
- Groups can choose any 3 styles of dance to learn - from: Bollywood, Country, Latin, Hip Hop, Hawaiian, or Belly Dance, a dance routine from each genre is taught and learned. If time permits, one form of dance is chosen to extend into a longer dance performance piece, that students can perform at the end of the workshop.
FLAMENCO TREASURE CHEST

1 HOUR PROGRAM* - up to 40 students for primary groups and up to 60 students for junior / intermediate groups (available inToronto area only)
- Flamenco Treasure Chest is a one-hour workshop geared towards young learners and exposes them to culture of flamenco. The flamenco artist will do a brief five-minute dance with castanets. Afterwards the dancer will engage students to ask questions. Students will learn about the how the body moves. I short and simple routine will be taught for the students to dance. The class will be taught in English, however, the dancer will use age appropriate Spanish such a counting, orientation of left, right etc in Spanish and English.

1 HOUR PROGRAM* - UP TO 35 STUDENTS
-Explore easy hip hop choreography and styling with primary students – this is a workshop the students will love, while giving teachers an opportunity to cover some dance curriculum!of formatted dance in a line dance format, and creative movement incorporated into a storyline to a piece of classical music.

- Afro fusion is a 1 hour workshop where technique meets "shake it"! During this workshop students will learn basic historical reference, authentic technique and experience different routines, from the Caribbean and Africa.

2 HOUR PROGRAM - UP TO 60 STUDENTS
- intended for students who have already done the ‘Let’s
Dance’ workshop: A hard-hitting, energetic, easy-to-follow workshop that's guaranteed to make you break a sweat! With choreography heavily influenced by street dance, students will learn the fundamentals of hip-hop while grooving out to the
latest up-beat tunes.

- our most popular workshop, and the most recommended
as a first-time booking! A combination of jazz and hip hop formatted into an easy to learn set of dances, followed by structured choreography and performance opportunities for
all students! Even those students and staff who do not feel comfortable dancing, will find themselves enjoying this opportunity!

2 HOUR PROGRAM - up to 40 students for primary groups and up to 60 students for junior / intermediate groups (available inToronto area only)
- Flamenco movement and rhythm teaches young learners about how the body moves in the flamenco genre. As well, students will learn how rhythmical cycles work and the language that flamenco dancers use to express musical rhythms without knowing music. Students will learn a simple and brief routine in dance and then also clapping. The class will be divided into two groups and one side claps as in flamenco, dancers are also musicians.

BALLROOM LINE DANCE
2 HOUR PROGRAM - UP TO 60 STUDENTS
– Learn basic ballroom steps to a variety of music (mostly contemporary), without the pressure of any physical contact
between students! Students will also have an opportunity to choreograph their own dances to a ballroom rhythm, in a
group setting, geared towards their age group and ability as
shown in the first half of the workshop. Performance of their
routines will be done in the final portion of the workshop.

JOCK JAMS
2 HOUR PROGRAM - UP TO 60 STUDENTS
This is the perfect workshop for student groups who love their sports, but are unsure about dance. We take sports themed movement from Basketball, Football, Soccer, and Hockey, and transform them into dance sequences. This workshop engages students in the instructional portion, and then brings out their own creativity in the choreography portion.
